Mommy Shower for Melissa Bates

Don't miss this special event - a Mommy Shower for Melissa Bates. (She's pregnant, in case you didn't know ;) It is time for one of our foremost mover and shakers to relax with the rest of us. Please come for good food and friends (an unbeatable combination)! No gifts are expected, but if you have an obsessive compulsive shopping disorder - her favorite stores are: Old Navy, Ross, Target, Bath & Body Works (no vanilla / cucumber / melon), Victoria Secret, and AutoZone . . . just kidding :D . . . and diapers are always a good purchase! Melissa loves the color red and outdoor activities. This night is all about Melissa - who will have to work extra hard next month to keep us all informed! There will be plenty of food (if I don't get in line first), and we would like everyone to bring one piece of good advise for the soon-to-be mommy of 2 girls, or a funny parenting story to share. See you there!!
Monday, April 19th at 6pm at Shelley's house - 2575 East Gate Road, Prescott.
Contact Christine Wallace to RSVP or for more details jcw4me@cableone.net.

Sponsors Include: Budweiser, Firehouse Kitchen, Pepsi, Madshirtz, Freedom Station

The horseshoe tournament is just around the corner. I know some of you are
already secretly scouting out partners. So, quickly find someone who is willing
to have a great time, eat some good food, enjoy some good beverages, listen to
good music, oh ya, and throw some horseshoes every now and then too, and
register for a team. Last year we had more teams than we could put into the
brackets and I think this year we will have an even better response because of
the reputation that the event has earned, so sign up soon.

And just so you all know, based on comments that came in after the event we have
made some improvements! The improvements include: All players (no matter age)
will throw from the same line; the price of food is included into the
registration, only $15 for 2 plates rather than $10 per plate, and we are having
the Firehouse Kitchen cater. And in an effort to alleviate our number one
complaint... we will allow alcohol in the pit area (please be respectful and
responsible). Other ideas are in the works, this will be an amazing event, yet
again! I hope to see you all out there!

PS. Please invite all your friends.
