Johnson's Baby Shower

Friday night was Caron & Brad's Baby shower, if you missed it here are some pictures to re cap the night. It was a great turnout, and they got lots of great gifts! Baby Johnson sure is a lucky baby. The men enjoyed poker while the women enjoyed baby shower games. Thank you so much to the ladies who threw the shower, the food was great and everything turned out really nice. And Thank you to everyone who stopped bye.

Moffitt Fundraisers

I wanted to give you all an update on what the Prescott Firefighter Charities has in mind for fundraisers benefiting the Moffitt Family. So far we are organizing 4 separate nights of fundraising at two different restaurants. Red Robin and Texas Roadhouse have accepted our request for fundraising. Red Robin has agreed to donate their servers tips from one evening to benefit the Moffitt Family; additionally they have suggested that we advertise the event as much as possible as well as, have Firefighters teamed up with their servers to increase tip amounts. Red Robin has also said that in the past organizations have had raffle prizes to raffle off on the benefit night.

Texas Roadhouse has agreed to give us 1,000 peanut bags that serve as a coupons for a $5.99 appetizer. We can sell these bags for $2 a piece and make $2,000 in bag sales alone. Texas Roadhouse has also offered to give us 10% of their sales for three consecutive days for those who dine in the restaurant and tell their server they are there to benefit the Moffitt Family.

SO...what we need from you guys. We will need help selling peanut bags, serving at Red Robin, advertising the events, obtaining raffle prizes, and eating at these restaurants on the scheduled event nights. Please contact me if you are willing to help our brother out.

The dates of the events have been tentatively set as:

Red Robin- July 29th
Texas Roadhouse- July 20th through the 22nd

This is just another example of how important it is to become involved in the Prescott Firefighter's Charities (PFC) events. With the PFC established we are able to help one of our own, please help out if you can.

We are looking for a team of 5 women (Fire Wives/Family) to participate in the 2009 Bucket Brigades taking place on Sunday, July 5th at 9 am on Cortez Street. In 2006 us Wives took 2nd place against all the other mens teams, 2007 there were no bucket brigades, and 2008 we were eliminated in the 1st round, it's time for a come back, 2009 is the year of the wives! 4th of July-Hose Cart Races & Union Picnic

Just a reminder of the upcoming Union Events on the 4th of July Weekend! On July 5th we will be having our Annual Hose Cart Races and Union Members Picnic. Besure to invite all your family and friends! There will be events for the kids @ both venues and we hope that everyone can make it! There will be T-shirts and hats for sale by the PFF Charities and they will have some union shirts on site for sale for the local as well.

15th Annual Burn Camp Open Golf Tournament

Saturday, June 20th at 8am.

Shotgun start at Antelope Hills Golf Course. Contests on every hole for longest putt, closest to the pin, longest drive, etc. Tons of great raffle prizes. Awards for the top teams. 4 person scramble. May sign up as a single. Teams must have an A, B, C, and D player.

Entry fee: $75 per player, $300 per team. Includes green fees, cart, lunch and prizes. All proceeds go to the AZ Children's Burn Camp.
